HOPE provides assistance with emergency and/or unforeseen veterinary expenses to local pet families experiencing temporary financial hardship (as our finances allow). HOPE does not fund the entire cost of a pet's veterinary care. Pet owners who meet HOPE's criteria receive partial grants for pre-approved veterinary services only. All payments are made directly to the veterinarian treating the pet, never to the pet owner.
HOPE serves only Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau (MI) Counties
If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, call HOPE's Veterinary Cost Assistance phone line at (231) 631-7222

If you do not already have an existing Care Credit account, you may apply online at http://www.carecredit.com, or by phone at (800) 677-0718.
